Areas of Practice
Automobile Accidents
After a car accident, the staff of Simons & Goldner work closely with our clients to ensure that your case moves quickly and efficiently to get all the benefits to which you are entitled. These benefits can include reimbursement for lost wages, securing a rental car, or obtaining the highest value for your vehicle should it be considered unsalvageable. We can also assist you in securing medical treatment if necessary. We work hard to handle all aspects of your claim promptly while working to achieve the highest possible settlement from the insurance company for your pain, suffering, and inconvenience.
Work-Related Accidents
At Simons & Goldner, we promptly gather and file all information necessary to start your claims process. We will see to it that you receive your lost wages and medical benefits as soon as possible. Once you return to work, we will obtain financial compensation for any permanent injury and will see that you receive lifetime medical benefits from the insurance company. If your injury prevents you from returning to your prior occupation, we will help you obtain the vocational rehabilitation necessary to return you to the workforce. If you are determined unable to work, we will then work with you to ensure that you receive lifetime medical and lost wage benefits.
Slip and Fall Injuries
If you are injured from a slip, trip, or fall on the property of another, you may have the right to be compensated for your injuries and medical expenses. Injuries that result from a slippery surface or sidewalk that has not been adequately maintained, or from sudden and unexpected changes in elevation may be compensable under Maryland Law. Simons & Goldner will work to ensure that you are adequately compensated for injuries caused by a negligent property owner or manager.
Criminal and Traffic Matters
Simons & Goldner would like to help you defend any pending criminal or traffic offenses with which you have been charged. We can also assist in defending against actions brought by the Motor Vehicle Administration related to your driver’s license.
Benefits of Simons & Goldner Representation
- If you retain Simons & Goldner for representation, we will communicate with all insurance companies on your behalf. This helps you avoid the stress and aggravation of speaking with insurance adjusters.
- We have no associate lawyers, and therefore, you can be assured that your case will receive the time, attention, and dedication from either of our partners.
- At Simons & Goldner, we can assess your claim and its potential value. We advise you not to accept a quick settlement from the insurance company of the at-fault driver, which can close out the claim and prevent you from obtaining another settlement. If you incur additional bills, this could be a problem.
- If your case must go to court, Simons & Goldner will handle litigation matters in-house. We often get trial referrals from many other personal injury lawyers due to our experience and consistently good trial results.
- Our injury cases are always handled on a contingency fee basis, which means if there is no recovery, there is never a fee. You will not be responsible for payment or reimbursement of expenses if there is no recovery.
